Black History Month
In the history of telecom, one of the most prominent pioneers is Black Inventor and IT entrepreneur Jesse E. Russell.
For Black History Month, we wanted to acknowledge the significance of this occasion and acknowledge his achievements.
Russell has played an integral role in the invention of the modern cell phone and has patented numerous innovations. One of his most pivotal contributions is the base station technology that transmits radio wave signals to and from mobile devices.
For many years, he held the position of Chief Wireless Architect at AT&T and continues to devote his time to innovating in that field today.
